Horrible crisis, can anyone recommend a good child custody lawyer in Buffalo NY? - ny smokers quit
Through a terrible crisis right now. I divorced my husband when my son was a few months old. He was very verbally abusive to me and has terrible threats during the divorce and custody battle. After 4 years ago, tries to smooth things up and I got pregnant again (accidentally). He lives in Florida and I'm here in New York, so that long distance. Now it seems that I once made the biggest mistake of my life as it can, at each other for more than 5 minutes without having to fight and scream at each other and wonder, and I'm terribly op in front of our son. So now I'm 8 1 / 2 months pregnant and has already threatened that he wants custody and child wants to live with him in Florida for at least 6 months per year. I fear death, and there is a heavy pot smoker and has a temper, terrible, terrible. I know I need a good lawyer, any advice?

You do not really need a good lawyer, believe me! I was on one side and another system NY Family Court (I'm in Rochester) The court appointed a lawyer or a law guardian for their children. This lawyer is not chosen by you or your ex, but are transferred by the court, and you do not have to pay to that person. The guardians of the law will go home, talk with your child and you. Said the guardian of the law on their side, and documents that tell the police reports, documentation of children, Dr. threat that the father is possible. Return to the Court, the guardian of law and the report of the judge who will decide. If you are taking (or no), then go to court.
